Each of these ear ornaments consists of open-wire frames in 18k white gold as a layered flowerhead composed of a raised central diamond surrounded by six shield cut diamond petals, which, together act as the central rosette for the eight ruby petals that surround and subsume it.

The central diamond rosette is mounted on white gold knife wires with subtle prongs on either side of each petal in an openwork frame. The eight ruby petals, cuneate in form, are mounted in twin open-wire channel frames with gently extended prongs.

This remarkable reimagining of a timeless motif serves to highlight the luminosity of the diamonds at the centre and dichroism of the rubies petals that surround them.
