Ever wonder how Nature creates marvelous gems in the silent darkness of caverns and unfathomable abysses, how she touches them with fiery reds, elemental greens, mellow yellows, the sombre black and tender blues? The Ibeji Collection is inspired by the very cosmogony of minerals, the nature of their existence and the extraordinary manner in which they are engendered. 

 

Gems are electric and polychroic, exhibiting a multitude of hues, andmanifesting in a vast array of colours. Their composition is complex and subtle, their physical properties beggar wonder, and in some cases, a disregard for the laws of crystallography.  

 

These ornaments are designed to highlight the surreal and spectacular beauty of gems, in arrangements that elicit their unusual particoloured and enigmatic nature, so casually capable of eliciting joy and wonder in the beholder. 

 

The Ibeji Collection houses resplendent examples of Nature’s bounty, such as the Tanzanite, found only in selective igneous plates of the Merelani Hills near Mount Kilimanjaro, and the enigmatic and subtle Tourmaline.
